John Jauregui
Rev. Jauregui began his 35 plus year career in aerospace engineering with Lockheed Martin and is credited with designing parts of the Space Shuttle Columbia and the Stealth. His passion for aircraft and spacecraft is nothing compared to his passion for his Savior – Jesus Christ. He was called into Ministry at 50 and graduated from New Orleans Baptist Theological in 2009. Rev. Jauregui, an adoptive dad, and Papi are also passionate about families and as such served as Vice President of Community Initiatives for the Georgia Center for Opportunity (then GFC). Upon his second retirement, he took a post as the Family Minister at Elizabeth Baptist Church in Atlanta. Ignite Hope is thrilled to have Rev. Jauregui now serving at their COO, sharing his gifts of planning, processes, and prayer with our board, team, and most importantly with the Ignite Hope families whom we serve.
