Message From Our Founders
Ignite Hope is set up to help children in crisis. Being adoptive parents inspired us to want to support others who are on this journey of caring for kids from hard places. The seed of Ignite Hope took root in our hearts at a mission trip we made to East Asia in 2014. We worked with an orphanage home and became more burdened for children in this category. We Advocate, Resource and Empower in the spaces of child welfare – from juvenile justice to child protective services, and DFCS to adoption agencies.
The spaces of fostering and adoption which feel so foreign and possibly uncomfortable to so many are the avenues God utilized to create our family. We may not have a large family tree, we’re certain we have a family forest. It is our commitment to ensure that kids in crisis have an advocate. We are zealous about supporting children pre-born to permanency – because we have a personally experience of what this type of support mean. Our calling is to raise up champions that will fend for the welfare of children in crisis. This profession is our passion. It is our life’s legacy.
